We are Nick and Elizabeth, an English photographer (him) and an American chef (her). We currently live in a vintage Class A motorhome on a small farmstead on Colorado’s Western Slope where we’re growing food and working hard on becoming as self-sufficient as possible. We met working on a scuba diving liveaboard boat in 2005 and have been pretty much inseparable ever since. We’ve both traveled extensively and went on an incredible round-the-world trip in early 2017, and then we bought and sold an antiquated RV, and now we’re renovating an old farmhouse and starting a teaching farm and cooking school. Here, we write about our farm adventures, travels, food politics and culture and how to cook interesting things at home. We like to ride road bikes and eat good food.
